Benim Stüdyom is a business management app for appointment-based salons and studios. Hair salons, barbershops, beauty salons, nail studios, lash and brow studios, spas, tattoo and piercing studios, and similar service businesses can use it to keep appointments, customers, services, photos, and payment records. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Apple App Store and Google Play requirements for apps that create accounts and process personal data.
The app is published by Tafjoy Lab, operated by Tayfun Can Günay (individual developer). For privacy questions, deletion requests, or support, email tafjoylab@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 24–48 hours.
We collect only what is needed to run your studio account. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party ads in the app.
We do not access your full photo library in the background. Photos are used only when you pick, save, or share them.
We do not use your studio or customer data for advertising, profiling, or selling to data brokers.
If you add a before or after photo to an appointment, that image is uploaded to our servers and stored with that appointment so you can view it later. You can replace or remove a photo in the app. Deleting an appointment or deleting your account also removes those photos from our servers.
The amounts you type in the app (price, deposit, paid amount) are business records you keep for yourself. We do not collect or store payment-card numbers for those records.
Paid access to the app is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores process the purchase. We receive only subscription status (for example trial, monthly, or yearly) through Apple, Google, and our billing partner RevenueCat. Card details stay with Apple or Google under their privacy policies.
If you request a refund, Apple or Google may use purchase history and app usage to review it. We follow their standard platform rules.
The app can open WhatsApp using a customer phone number you entered. That hand-off happens on your device. Meta / WhatsApp then processes the conversation under their own policies. We do not read your WhatsApp chats.
You can export a JSON backup of your studio (customers, appointments, services, and related records) and restore it later. A restore replaces the current studio data on the server. Keep backup files in a place you control. Anyone with the file can read the data inside it.
Account and studio data are stored on our API hosted on Fly.io (primary region: Frankfurt) and in MongoDB Atlas. Emails (verification and password reset) are sent through our configured email provider (SMTP). Subscription status may be processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
These providers act as processors or independent controllers under their own terms. We use them only to operate the app.
Passwords are hashed. Access to studio data requires a signed login token. Connections to the API use HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
We keep your account and studio data while the account exists. If you delete your account in the app, we delete the account, the studio, customers, appointments (including photos), and services tied to that studio. Email verification and reset codes expire and are removed after use or expiry. We may keep minimal billing or legal records if a store or the law requires it.
Benim Stüdyom is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and Turkey), you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. You can:
You may access the app from Turkey or other countries. Servers may be located in the European Union (Fly.io Frankfurt and MongoDB Atlas). By using the app you understand that your data may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards used by those providers.
We may update this page. The Effective Date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will remain published at https://benim-studyom-api.fly.dev/privacy.
